Sirisha Veldanda has undergone comprehensive and intensive training in the Homeopathic system of medicine. She has a lot of experience in handling both chronic and acute disease cases over the years. The experience has been accumulated over years of study, while interning with experienced homeopaths, and also during her own successful practice. She has a strong passion for Homeopathic philosophy and commitment to bringing about healthy outcomes in her patients. She lives in San Jose, CA with her husband and two children.

 

Sirisha has the following certification & degrees:

  • CCH (Certified Classical Homeopath) from Council for Homeopathic Certification, Covington, WA, USA. The Council for Homeopathic Certification (http://www.homeopathicdirectory.com) is a USA based organization with the mission to standardize and bring together a unified set of highly trained and certified homeopathic practitioners. The certification process includes a rigorous four-phase examination comprising the following:

    • Core health sciences (human anatomy, physiology, and pathology)

    • Core components of Homeopathy (philosophy, materia medica, Repertory, case analysis, and professional ethics)

    • Submission of proven case reports from one’s own practice

    • Interview process to cross-examine the case reports.

 

  • MPH (Masters in Public Health) from San Jose State University, CA, USA. This is a graduate program that prepares students with an understanding of the various health education/delivery models in the US. It also includes a 3-6 month internship program working in the community to either implement new health education awareness initiatives or to refine existing initiatives.

 

  • BHMS (Bachelors in Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery) from University of Health Sciences, AP, INDIA. This is a 5.5-year program that involves comprehensive medical training in the following:

    • Health sciences: human anatomy, human physiology

    • Core Homeopathic subjects and practice

    • Internship (1 year) requirement under the supervision of active practitioners.
